The craft

Stems from a family tradition

TONI Copenhagen is built on a proud family tradition dating back to the early 1800s, when the Auchenberg family of brass founders manufactured fixtures in a small workshop in Inner Copenhagen. Today, production still takes place locally in Frederiksberg, where experienced craftsmen assemble and refine each product by hand. The brass is cast in Italy to ensure high raw quality, but it is in Copenhagen that the material is transformed into timeless fixtures.

We believe that quality is created with time, precision, and respect for craftsmanship. Therefore, each fixture is tested before it leaves the workshop – a promise of durability for generations. By combining classic methods with modern design, we create functional, beautiful solutions that bring the legacy of brass founding into the future.

Quality and repair

Quality control is a matter of honour at TONI Copenhagen. Every fitting is thoroughly tested under pressure that far exceeds what is experienced in a home. Only when it passes, is it sent to the customer.

We want to preserve and extend the lifespan of our products. For more than 100 years, we have believed in the importance of being able to repair rather than replace. Our Vintage Repair Shop allows customers to have their TONI fittings refurbished, giving them new life and enabling them to continue functioning for many years — proof that true craftsmanship is something to be cherished.
