North Fork Farmhouse

In Orient on Long Island, New York, sits a country house from the early 1900s that has been thoughtfully reimagined as a relaxed and cozy family home.

In collaboration with the design studio General Assembly, owners Andrea Arria-Devoe and Mike Maguire have transformed the historic property based on the rhythm of summer life, from busy mornings in the kitchen to afternoons by the pool and long dinners under the open sky.

The result is a home that still clearly bears the mark of its history, while at the same time being furnished for a modern family life.
