St. Leo Showroom

As you move through the distinctive street grid of the Århusgade district, where Nordhavn’s new city life still vibrates atop the area’s industrial past, you discover a special building at Trelleborggade 5. It stands as a testament to a time when the harbor was the gateway to the world, and where the scent of spices, coffee, and colonial goods filled the warehouses. Today, the same building houses St. Leo’s showroom—a modern space for tactile surfaces, material poetics, and Scandinavian-rooted design.

St. Leo, established in Copenhagen in 2019, operates from a Scandinavian understanding of materiality, tranquility, and craftsmanship. In the showroom, this philosophy meets the building’s raw history. Walls and surfaces are staged as a material laboratory, where colors and surfaces are experienced in interaction with light, proportions, and the building’s industrial structures.

The interior is composed in a muted, tactile palette, where Christiansborg fixtures and accessories in burnished brass introduce a subtle metallic counterpoint. What unites it all is a respect for materials and for the processes that evolve over time.
