Following a fire at Christiansborg Palace in 1884, the palace sought to replenish the belongings and property that were lost in the incident. Fritz Toxborg's father, Edgar was working for the equipment company Auchenberg, who supplied the palace with sanitary fittings throughout the reconstruction process.
